A funny thing happened on my way to plow snow,
I stepped and I stooped and I made myself go.
I shoved as I should and heaved a great deal,
But the wind so strong had me trip on my heel!

Splat into the embankment deep down I went
With the shovel so full it became spent.
The snow blew all over my face and then glazed.
Shouldn’t have shoveled, should wait a few days.
